We have over 60 works available by some of the most exciting artists working today! There is something for everyone, including painting, drawings, sculpture, ceramics, prints, publications and more.

2. Register to bid ✉️

Once you are ready to make a bid - you need to register. 

On a work you are interested in, below the current bid, you will see a prompt to register. 

Type in your email address to register.

You will then be sent a code to your email to confirm your identity.

3. Place your bid! ✋

Once you have registered, you are ready to bid! 

Each work has a minimum bid increase. 

You can insert an automatic maximum bid as well. This means that you can input the maximum amount you are willing to bid. An automatic bid will be placed on your behalf if someone else bids on the same work, and will continue to do so until your maximum bid is surpassed.

Note that some works have reserves on. 

4. Keep an eye on the bids 👀

You will receive an email to let you know if you are the top bidder. 

You will also receive an email if you have been outbid by someone else. 

The auction will close at 21:00 GMT on Friday 5 December 2025. After this time, the highest bidder on each work will be declared the winner. 

5. Winning bidders 🌟

If you are the winning bidder, we will contact you directly after the auction closes to arrange payment and collection/delivery of your artwork.

Winners have 7 days to arrange payment. After 7 days, the next highest bidder will be declared the winner! 

Shipping costs will be calculated based on the size and weight of the artwork and added to winning bid total. Shipping cost includes postage, packaging and insurance to the full value of the artwork.

Artworks can be collected from the gallery free of charge during gallery opening hours or by appointment (email contact.slugtown@gmail.com)

Small letter (24 x 16.5 x 0.5cm) - £10

Large letter (35.3 x 25 x 2.5cm) - £13

Small parcel (45 x 35 x 16cm) - £15

Medium parcel (61 x 46 x 46cm) - £18

UK shipping for artworks with a value over £1000 

If you are the winning bidder we will contact you after the auction closes on 5 December for a bespoke shipping quote. 

International shipping

If you are the winning bidder we will contact you after the auction closes on 5 December for a bespoke shipping quote. 

Will I be informed if I have been outbid?

Yes, you will automatically receive an email informing you that you have been outbid by someone else. 

The email will contain a link to the auction, where you will be able to place another bid. 

Additionally, you can login to your account on slugtown-fundraiser.com and look at your bids. 

Will I be informed if I am the winner?

Yes, once the auction has closed you will automatically receive an email informing you that you have won, and with a payment link.

When does the auction close?

Salon will close at 21:00 GMT on Friday 5 December 2025.

I have won an artwork – how do I pay?

The email you receive will contain a link to payment. This will be processed through Shopify.

How long do I have to pay for the artwork I have won?

You will have 7 days to make a payment if you are the winner. In the event that payment is not received, the next highest bidder will be contacted. 

When will I receive my artwork?

All winners will be notified on 5 December 2025. Once payment has been received, we will wrap and package you artwork, and get it in the post to you within 2 working days (for UK winners). 

Plenty of time before Christmas! 

What is popcorn bidding? 

The auction will close at 21:00 GMT on Friday 5 December 2025. 

However, to avoid last minute sniping bids on lots, Salon: Slugtown Fundraiser 2025 operates popcorn bidding. 

Popcorn bidding means that any bids placed within the last 3 minutes of the auction, will extend the auction time by 3 minutes. Meaning that if you have been outbid at the last moment, you have 3 minutes to place another bid. Popcorn bidding continues until no bids are placed within a 3 minute period.

Returns and refunds

We cannot offer any refunds on Salon: Slugtown Fundraiser 2025. If your artwork arrives and is faulty, then contact us immediately within 7 days of receiving the work.
